Monica Ciriello

After completing her graduate studies in politics and public policy, Monica went to law school where she developed a passion and commitment for public service. After working as a solicitor practicing municipal and planning law in both the private and public sectors, Monica moved to Hamilton where she began working at City Hall. Prior to being elected as your MPP for Hamilton Mountain, Monica served as Director of Municipal Law and Licensing at the City of Hamilton, where she worked to streamline government processes and improve public safety.

Monica is committed to cutting red tape, supporting small businesses, and building a stronger, more prosperous Ontario. She understands the importance of housing, infrastructure, and economic development in Hamilton Mountain and will work alongside the government to get big things done.

Monica, her husband, Greg, and their dog, George, call Hamilton home and are proud to be part of this vibrant community. As your MPP, she is ready to listen, advocate, and deliver results for the people of Hamilton Mountain.
